Peppermint Holding GmbH has acquired the majority of shares in R3 Solutions GmbH, based in Berlin. The company stands for wireless technology "Like cable to cable, only without the cable" and offers industrial companies high-performance solutions for the wireless transmission of industrial data between machines.

For Peppermint as a medium-sized industrial group headquartered in Berlin, this is a strong sign that it is expanding its still young core segment, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), almost two years after its initial investment in R3 Solutions. Marcus Baumbach, Managing Partner at Peppermint, sees reliable and fast wireless data transmission as the key to the successful transformation of industry: "For us as a medium-sized industrial group, the majority stake in R3 Solutions is a strong signal of our future viability.
